Accelerate Magazine is a globally leading publication for the HVAC&R industry, with distinct editions across Europe, America, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and China. Art direction, editorial design, and illustration from 2017 onwards. The Accelerate Italy special edition — inspired by the Memphis movement — became a customer favourite.
Role & Responsibilities
Art direction, graphic design, photography direction, editorial design, and illustration across all global Accelerate Magazine editions.
Process
Trade publishing doesn't have to look like trade publishing.
Established a global design language that could flex across regional editions while remaining recognizably Accelerate. For the Italy edition, drew from the Memphis movement — bold geometry, maximalist color, expressive type — to create something that felt genuinely different from the industry norm.
