This dissertation challenges conventional medical perspectives on Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Rather than treating it as a disease requiring medication, the research explores alternative approaches developed by psychologists and pedagogists — positing that ADHD relates to a lack of appropriate rules, tolerance, and motivation rather than a neurological deficiency.
Role & Responsibilities
Research and editorial design — creating a publication that presents complex academic content accessibly, with strong visual hierarchy, typography, and layout to support long-form reading.
Process
The design of ideas matters as much as the ideas themselves.
Conducted in-depth research into ADHD literature, psychological perspectives, and educational design. Translated findings into an editorial design that uses visual structure to guide readers through nuanced arguments — making the dissertation both intellectually rigorous and visually engaging.
