PORTOverview
A project by Estudio 6 from Universidad de los Andes for El Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro de Bogotá. A participatory installation that invited festival visitors to contribute messages processed by interactive machines. Four rotating questions were posed daily, each active for 90 minutes — with responses bottled for visitors to interact with and view through visualization tables.
Role & Responsibilities
Art direction and experience design — creating a memorable participatory installation that invited audiences to think, reflect, and engage with each other through the medium of collected thoughts.
Process
What if a theatre festival could collect the city's imagination?
Designed the installation experience end-to-end: the question framework, the physical interaction mechanics, the visual display of responses, and the "bottling" ritual that made each set of answers tangible and collectible. The system ran for the full duration of the festival, generating a living archive of visitor thoughts.
